* Shipping to the USA is currently only available via UPS Express due to the end of the de minimis rule and new tariff regulations. Please note that shipping does not include taxes or tariffs.

* Orders from the USA can be cancelled before the shipping label is created. Once the label has been issued, shipping costs are non-refundable.

Yes, SEA BY LOU is eco-friendly and sustainable with the marine eco-system always in mind. 

I collect my sea treasures eco-consciously, infrequently and I always check if ‘someone is home’. The shells that are occupied are left in peace or guided back to the ocean.

I only collect shells that are naturally washed onto the shore by the sea. When beachcombing I pick up any dangerous glass or plastics and dispose these responsibly. 

My goal is to be able to donate 5% of every order to an ocean charity organisation by 2025.

If you see any sold out pieces that you adore, it is possible to re-create something similar. Please note that these pieces will never be identical, all artworks are unique, but it is possible to create something with a similar look and feel. 

If you adore certain specific shells, it is possible to create a special artwork with these specific shells.

If you are unhappy with your SEA BY LOU artwork or jewelry for any reason, please contact Info@seabylou.com within 14 days of receiving your order. 

To be eligible for a return, the artwork or jewelry must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. 

Please note: that the costs of postage to return the order must be covered by the customer. For personalized artwork returns are not possible. 

The majority of the beautiful sea treasures I collect are from the beaches of Portugal. All shells are collected by me and sometimes I am lucky to get help from friends and family. 

Please read the descriptions of the artworks to get more details on where the shells are from. 

The shipping costs will vary depending on your location, the delivery service, size of the order and value. 

Shipping costs will be calculated at the check out. Once the order has been placed and shipped you will receive a tracking number. 

Please note that SEA BY LOU is a small business and it is unfortunately not possible to offer free 1-2 day shipping on the orders.

Generally the shipping time will be 2 - 7 business days depending on your location. 

SEA BY LOU does offer eco-friendly shipping; re-using supplier wrapping plastic, handwritten notes and careful packaging.
